Surfadol 400 series surfactants are ethylene oxide adducts with Surfadol 541.

Surfadol 400 series products have better hydrophilicity, solubility, wetting and defoaming properties, compared with Surfadol 541.

Surfadol 400 series low-foam wetting agents include:

Surfadol 420, TMDD ethoxylate with 20% ethylene oxide.

Surfadol 440, TMDD ethoxylate with 40% ethylene oxide.

Surfadol 465, TMDD ethoxylate with 65% ethylene oxide.

Surfadol 485, TMDD ethoxylate with 85% ethylene oxide.

Used in water-based industrial coatings (420/440), automotive OEM paint, wood coatings, PSA & compound adhesives (440/465), fountain solutions (440/465), eletroplating solutions (465/485), inkjet inks (465), latex dipping, emulsion polymerization (465/485).

Instructions: Surfadol 400 series surfactants shall be slightly stirred before added in formulations. Surfadol 465 and Surfadol 485 have a solubility over 1% in pure water, while Surfadol 420 and Surfadol 440 must be dispersed for 15-30 minutes after added in formulations.

Surfadol 420 is Surfactant has good wetting ability, and low foam characteristics. Be used in a wide range of aqueous formulations.Such as water-based inks, water-based OPV, digital printing coatings, industrial coatings; HLB=4.
